Available as a stand-alone solution, or integrated with existing unified communications software from other vendors, Avistar’s C3 users gain instant messaging-style ability to initiate video communications and collaborate across and outside the enterprise. Patented bandwidth management enables thousands of users to access desktop videoconferencing, Voice over IP (VoIP), collaboration services, and streaming media without requiring substantial new network investment or impairing network performance.
Avistar’s C3 software makes it quicker, easier and cheaper for individuals and groups within organizations as well as with suppliers and customers, to meet and collaborate irrespective of distance. Avistar customers on average are able to substitute 6% of in-person internal onsite, local offsite, and offsite meetings with air and ground travel, thereby reducing their T&E budgets and carbon footprints by approximately 20%. Across an organization, 250 C3 users save up to $1.1M annually, while 1000 C3 users save up to $7.8M annually. These savings translate into real value, especially given that today’s businesses often have distributed workforces, with ever greater pressures in their lives.
